Having talked about the revenue strips, let's talk about Sporting. From one moment to another, with the return of Sporting to the market, it seems that whatever the player who will wear our jersey, simply sucks. It has no quality. Joao Pereira enjoyed because years and years with our club, because it is a lantern made because wears red underpants, etc, etc.. But nobody says it's the best side that we could probably hire. It was expensive? Certainly. I have no doubt that we live in the difficulty of speculation created by Braga.

Pongolle, overnight became a player banal. A terrorist of the resorts. Because it took Atletico Madrid was shit (an absolute truth, its supporters live in fear of relegation), soon emerged that the reactions would probably be facing a rough Rochemback. That the amount payable by him was too much.

I like this return to the market's Sporting two ways, if I may say so. Abandon the model where only trained players in the house could be champions. Divest and let the opponents will reinforce the belief that we could still be champions. And the other way, anticipating revenue in line with a strengthening of the sports team to achieve results that can (there is no certainty) to derive financial results. That is what just happened in the reopening of the winter market. The money for new hires, part, comes from future revenues from the renegotiation with PT and the new advertising contract.

Do not know if the Sporting will succeed with this approach. I, again I emphasize, I am happy with the return of Sporting to the market. It seems to me that the signings are being considered. A lateral position to hold in the first game that makes for Sporting and eager to succeed. An attacker who can do double with Liedson, and this first phase susbtituí it, guaranteed "eye for goal," a central, they say quality, which nevertheless does not tell well whether or not reinforcement.

And the market still moves. Missing in my understanding, a central defender, a left back with experience and who knows how close well, and it seems we are on track to achieve an excellent player. Worth the wait because it seems that there will be a good surprise, and finally, at the very end, if there was a possibility, an attacker would not be a bad option for us to believe that despite the title of national champion is practically impossible, there is still the Europa League, the Cup of Portugal and the League Cup to win!

Is this the best way? I do not know. I'm not clairvoyant, and I dare not currently making futurology!

Peter, I totally disagree with. Sporting are to mortgage a decade of strict management for 6 months that can aspire to nothing more than to be less evil in the photograph.

The solution to the Sporting was simple: to announce the season as lost and at the same time announcing that he was already preparing the next one. Took the pressure of the team and taking the sporting squad that has easily reached the 4th place and maybe even a little more (no pressure to smile easily won). At the same time, there were six months to gauge whether Pereirinha and Salt or not they are players who can count Sporting. Salt had an opportunity and decided a game. Two weeks later, look to the squad and it seems no longer around to play more. Then went to the market, but in the medium term. Would be sought Mano (Belenenses) and Silvio (Rio Ave), very cheap and with minimum quality, and will begin in six months to give them "smell" the Sporting. The same could be done in other special cases: Fábio Faria should be impossible, but Vitor Gomes would be within reach.

This is my opinion. I think the SCP has been, despite difficulties, the best managed club in Portugal. And it has achieved results. Must be aware that under normal conditions the SCP has no money for social and comparable with Porto and Benfica.

    Luciano,

Obviously you have every right to disagree and give reasons for your opinion, but I think Sporting are reinforced and needed strengthening for the second part of a time that is not yet lost. The league does not count, but there is the Cup of Portugal, the League and League Europe.

There are players that statements which may be interesting, but it is ncessário bet on players who have proven their quality and in a short time can increase the momentum of our current squad. That was poorly designed and drawn without quality.

Pedro clear that the path followed by the SCP has any sense, but in my opinion is not the correct one. The League Cup is nothing saved, in Europa League SCP does not aim far left and the Cup of Portugal (where it is not already Benfica).

How to increase the momentum of the team, a team is a whole and not individuals. Not by Joao Pereira enter the SCP that the problem is resolved. Neither Pongolle. The problem of the SCP is far beyond the four lines. A hug and good 2010!
